One Coach's view on parents and schools

  1. Parents are 'enablers'
  2. Parents do not teach personal accountability
  3. School systems are more interested in avoiding getting sued by parents then they are of producing a generation of well educated, disciplined kids
  4. "Instant gratification" in our culture
  5. Parents convince little Johnny that he's the next Reggie Bush, if only coach weren't stupid enough to have him playing Tackle
  6. Not as much respect for "team concepts" or "authority" because of this
  7. This job would be awesome it it wasn't for parents and crappy spineless school administrations.
